Qualified individuals will have demonstrated ability to: • Provide clerical, operational and personal support to the Chief Executive Officer • Assist in the coordination of work for the Executive Vice Presidents • Quickly learn and respond to new situations especially as they affect the office of the CEO • Handle a variety of situations involving the clerical and administrative function of the office, which often cannot be brought to the attention of the executive •????Perform administrative services and provide assistance, of significant complexity, requiring substantial latitude of independent judgment and discretion on a frequent basis • Acquire and utilize a thorough knowledge of organizational policies, practices, and operations and oral communication skills to perform routine administrative details, such as arranging meetings, responding to non-routine inquires from telephone callers or visitors, and gathering background information for sensitive or confidential reports • Project a professional and competent image of the organization to clients, media, etc. • Respond to changes in priorities, schedules, and activities for self, admin. staff, and external resources with professionalism and ease • Assertively, yet professionally, drive for results
Job Responsibilities :
The selected Executive Assistant will: •????Have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate with company personnel, as well as, high-ranking individuals from large national or international firms. • Exhibit proficiency with Microsoft Applications • Coordinate support activities for Executives traveling internationally frequently • Maintain executive calendar • Coordinate and attend corporate and community meetings • Write memo and letters • Have the ability to maintain confidentiality • Supervise other administrative staff if needed
Job Requirements :
Must have the ability to analyze non-routine administrative details of moderate complexity, and provide for an acceptable resolution. Must have a working knowledge of personal software packages to perform the administrative functions described above. Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously. Understanding of the entrepreneurial mindset, well-honed business acumen, and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely are vital to this role. Previous experience working in the construction industry and/or working with the federal government is preferred. Four year degree required. Advanced degree preferred. International exposure helpful.
